Created for the opening of the LA Clippers’ inaugural 2025 season at the Intuit Dome, Spinifex developed a large-scale cinematic opening film designed specifically for one of the world’s most technologically advanced sports and entertainment venues.

Built around the immense Halo display system and synchronized arena effects, the experience transformed the stadium into a fully immersive theatrical environment that merged film, architecture, lighting and live crowd energy into a single choreographed performance.

Set to an original score by Hans Zimmer, the film opened with a dramatic aerial descent toward the arena before transitioning into a series of explosive cinematic moments. Players emerged through the tiled architectural interior of the Intuit Dome, bursting through the screen surfaces as streams of particle energy visualised the momentum and emotion of the crowd throughout the venue.

The experience extended far beyond the central screen, integrating LED seat pixels across the arena alongside synchronized lasers, CO₂ cannons and lighting effects that reacted directly with the content in real time. The result was a highly physical and emotionally charged pre-game ritual designed to amplify and establish the 2025 visual identity for the Clippers’ arrival at the Intuit Dome.

Combining cinematic storytelling, spatial motion design and large-scale technical integration, the project demonstrated how contemporary sports presentation can evolve into a fully immersive media experience.
