Electric Theatre Collective
Directed by Electric Theatre Collective's very own Michael 'Chappers' Chapman, this film marries live action with animation to deconstruct the new Lexus RZ electric SUV. Inspired by Haynes manuals, each part is treated with an obsessive level of attention to maintain authenticity, grounded in the real world to maintain an aspirational elegance. From the iconic L-shaped LED headlights and artistry of the interior’s Sashiko stitching, to the way light shimmers across the sonic paint, every tiny detail in this film required tactility. The challenge was to produce a film that mirrored the craft of the vehicle itself. Effortlessly poised, blending live action and VFX in a totally seamless way.
