Two Australian party girls, Sarah and Rachel, look for fun times, new experiences, positive vibes, and hopeful horoscopes in the bizarre town of Wollongong in this animated series. Sarah's quest is to find love, whereas Rachel hungers for chaos, often bringing them into conflict as they encounter surreal Australiana, strange bush creatures, and eccentric nomads.
YOLO Silver Destiny follows YOLO Crystal Fantasy (2020), the first series order Adult Swim had ever made outside the US and, as they put it, “one of the weirdest things we will ever air”.

Monkeystack produced animation for Michael Cusack’s adult 2D animated series ‘YOLO Silver Destiny’, commissioned by the WarnerMedia-owned network Adult Swim, produced by Princess Bento Studio.
The animation required for YOLO Silver Destiny was worlds away from that of YOLO Crystal Fantasy. New characters are introduced as well as the return of old favourites. Each episode has a musical number and is set across multiple locations; from the distant ‘Planet Bali’, to the not-so-distant time of ‘Ye Olde Wollongong’. One episode takes a trip far back in time, 300 million years to be precise, arriving in the Pleistocene Epoch see the Australian megafauna. If that wasn’t enough, there was also an entire black and white art-house inspired episode set in New York, featuring ‘Chimothée Talamet’ (who looks suspiciously alike to Timothée Chalamet).
