Coca-Cola China commemorates the Year of the Rabbit with this wholesome film about the poignancy and hopefulness of change. In preparation of Lunar New Year festivities, the film’s protagonist, Grandmother Rabbit, keenly cooks her specialty dumplings for her family - a tradition which she has cherished for years. However, upon leaving her serene burrough for the bustling big city, she grows anxious about the delicacy she has laboured over - how will it fare against the modern treats that her Grandson and great-grandchildren are accustomed to? It is certainly fitting that in the Chinese Zodiac, the Rabbit represents courage, for Coca-Cola’s Grandmother Rabbit embodies just that. She exhibits the courage to stay true to herself, realising that the world around her may change, but the important things - being surrounded by family - will always be magic.
