VIVID 2023 Lighting of the Sydney Opera House Sails

Life Enlivened sits at the centrepiece of Vivid Sydney, an annual celebration of creativity, innovation and technology, which transforms Sydney for 23 days and nights. The Lighting of the Sails of the Sydney Opera House was especially poignant in 2023 as it commemorated the work of Dr John Olsen AO OBE. Curiious animated many of Olsen's paintings celebrating Australian landscapes. Curiious Creative Directors, Fabio Nardo and Christian J Heinrich focussed on bringing life and vibrancy to the artwork, creating a light show which dances rhythmically across the outer structure of the Opera House and honour the work of Olsen's famous artistry.
