Led by Production VFX Supervisor Paul Norris and ReDefine VFX Supervisor Andrew Simmonds, the ReDefine VFX team contributed 376 VFX shots across 67 sequences for the film ‘I Wanna Dance with Somebody’.Our visual effects crew worked closely with Dimension Studios to digitally create large crowds in massive concert venues including Wembley Stadium, Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy and Arena Nürnberger Versicherung for the Whitney Houston biopic. We completed the work using volumetric captured crowd assets, which allows for authentic movement and emotion, expansive camera moves and avoiding the use of thousands of extras.
